20110921102751309.pdf0006.150.002 WSS/klt 02/05/90 ORDINANCE NO. 2760 T AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7315 - 212TH STREET S.W. AND DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RM 2.4) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG2), PURSUANT TO THE PLANNING BOARD'S RECOMMENDATION AND THE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington pursuant to Notice in conformance with law and ordinance held a public hearing on January 16, 1990, on a proposed amendment in application No. R-1-89 to the official zoning map of said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received the recommendations of its Planning Board following the public hearing, and WHEREAS, the City Council concurs the findings of the City's responsible official that no significant and adverse environmental impact will result from said action, and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby adopts as its Findings of Fact and Conclusions the Findings and Conclusions of its Planning Board with regard to said rezone; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The official zoning map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended to change the WSS520700 -1- classification of the following described property from Multi - Family Residential (RM -2.4) to General Commercial (CG2), such property being entirely situated in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington at 7315 - 212th Street S. W. Said property is shown on the attached Exhibit A, incorporated by this reference as fully as if herein set forth and is hereby described thereof Hawarden Tracts, in accordance with the subdivision of the plat thereof recorded with the Snohomish County Auditor. Section 2. Community Services Director, by and through his duly appointed designee is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the official zoning map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to Section 1 of this ordinance. Section 3. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof consisting of the title.
