AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY DE-
SIGNATING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED INTO THE CITY AS
MULTIPLE -FAMILY, HIGH DENSITY (RMH), PURSUANT
TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 651.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, held a public hearing regarding designating certain newly
annexed property in the City of Edmonds as Multiple -Family, High
Density (RMH) and after said hearing has forwarded its recommenda-
tions to the City Council in Planning Commission Resolution No. 651,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washing-
ton, held a public hearing and after all persons who desired to give
testimony had spoken, and the Council having considered the Findings
of Fact, Conclusions and Recommendations of the Planning Commission
as contained in Resolution No. 651, the written materials and documents
submitted before and during the hearing and the testimony of the City
staff and the members of the public, and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the public hearing, the City
Council determined as follows:
1. That the Findings of Fact contained in Planning Commis-
sion Resolution No. 651 are correct and are hereby adopted by this
reference as if set forth in full.
2. There are no significant adverse environmental impacts
to the surrounding properties either within or without the jurisdiction of
the City of Edmonds which will be affected by the proposed zoning
classification of the property or the proposed uses, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING-
TON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official zoning map of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, is hereby amended by establishing the zoning classification
of certain real property newly annexed into the City as Multiple -
Family, High Density (RMH), all situate in the City of Edmonds, Sno-
homish County, Washington, and more particularly described on Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The Director of Community Development is hereby
directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the official zoning
map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as provided by
law.
