Oil tank removal @ 7313 Soundview Drive
On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit application.
During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections,
or clarifications need to be addressed. Please respond to the following items, so that I can
complete my review:
Geotechnical Report: The project is located within the buffer of potential landslide hazard
area and at the top of an erosion hazard area according to the critical determination
conducted under CRA20110083. It is my understanding that this project involves the
removal of an existing oil tank with the possibility of some site cleanup work once the oil
tank has been removed. Given the site location within geologically hazardous areas, a
geotechnical report consistent with the requirements of Edmonds Community Development
Code (ECDC 23.80.050.C). If replacing the oil tank is a future consideration, the
geotechnical report should also address this and make the specific findings required in ECDC
23.80.070.A.2.
