During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised
plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you.
On page A-6:
1.Indicate the required footing size to support the load at the east bearing end of Beam 11
5-1/4 x 11-7/8 PSL. The response letter indicates support via the existing fireplace
foundation. Beam 12 supports the west end of Beam 11, and is bearing on the existing
fireplace foundation. The east end of Beam 11 appears to bear on the existing foundation.
On page A-7:
2.Indicate the beam required over the 60x68 Store Doors in the north wall of the Family
Room to support the point load of the girder truss above. The response letter noted the
addition of Beam 19 with supporting calculations for a 3 foot wide opening. The girder
truss appears to bear on the opening over the 6068 store doors.
