During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the
Development Services Department. Thank you.
1.In order for the City to approve an engineered design for an unlisted system, a greater level
of detail is required for us to review the system and determine general compliance with the
IFGC, and to guide proper construction and inspection. Please provide design details and
specifications for
a.The gas burner
b.Configuration of the fire pit and table top
c.Exhaust canopy
d.Makeup air system
2.What gauge is the exhaust duct? Is it single wall or double wall? What are the required
clearances to combustibles?
3.What are the required clearances from the exhaust termination to combustibles; to other
physical portions of the building; to openings into the building?
4.Provide manufacturers specifications for the Enervex Exhausto chimney fan.
