During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised
plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you.
General Note:
The resubmittal received by the City of Edmonds Building Division on November 9, 2011
was in response to plan review comments regarding the project as it was originally submitted. In
addition to those in response to the review comments, changes were made that were not part of the
prior review process and have resulted in additional review comments.
On page 2/5:
1.The expansion of the existing bathroom near the Existing Family Room, along with the
expansion/conversion of the Existing Utility room into a Proposed Study, creates a
hallway that does not meet the 36-inch width required per R311.6.
2.Clarify the location of the appliance formerly located in the Existing Utility room it is not
represented on the resubmitted plans in the Proposed Study.
3.Indicate the method to be used to provide the required outdoor air to the Proposed Study
per M1508.4.5 and note #14 on page 6/6.
On page 6/6:
4.Conditions Item #8 Eliminate or change the wording to meet the requirements of WSEC
502.1.6.1 and avoid conflict with other conditions listed (i.e. #9).
