During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator.
1.Please have the architect stamp and sign all revised plan sheets.
2.Please change all references to the 2006 WSEC to the 2009 WSEC.
3.Please change all references to Table 6-2 in the WSEC to Table 6-1.
4.Note on the plans which energy credits are being used to comply with WSEC chapter 9.
5.Please change references to window U value to 0.32 maximum. (See #12 in Graph notes)
6.The whole house ventilation system must be designed and installed according to IRC section
M1508, not the 2006 VIAQ, which is no longer adopted. Please make the necessary
alterations to sheets 1 of 1-A and 1 of 7 accordingly. Whole house exhaust fans that operate
intermittently are to be sized per the equation in M1508.3.
7.Indicate carbon monoxide alarms immediately outside of each sleeping area. R315.1
