Ken, in the engineering packet stamped and sealed by Nabil M. Taha, detail S-8 shows
wedge anchors at each anchor angle location. The detail also refers to Note D of sheet
S0 for additional details. Looking at Note D, item #2 states the builder shall retain the
service of Precision or a local licensed engineer to design the foundation and
anchorage to the foundation of this shelter. It is this piece that we are missing. It seems
that the detail on S-8 gives me part of the attachment detail, but is incomplete, and we
also need design calculations for this attachment to the eco-blocks. Feel free to contact

Our Building Department has just one question to ask about the method of attaching the
canopies to the ecology blocks and has called the engineering firm that did the drawings
and calculations for the understanding. So far, no reply. Can you please give these folks
a nudge to do so? It's all that's holding up our permit. Thanks.
