Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you. On page A 1.0: 1.General Construction Notes – Foundations – Note #1 – Change the required exterior footing depth from 12 inches to 18 inches per Table R301.2(1). 2.Energy & Ventilation Notes – Ventilation & Indoor Air Quality – Note #6 – Change the outdoor air inlet duct sizing reference from ‘Table 3-5 of the WSVIAQ code’ to ‘M1508 of the IRC’. The ventilation and indoor air quality requirements were moved into the IMC and the mechanical sections of the IRC on July 1, 2010. 3.Energy & Ventilation Notes – Ventilation & Indoor Air Quality – Note #7 – Change the damper installation reference from ‘Table 3-2 (WSVIAQ)’ to ‘M1508.5.2’. On page A 2.0: 4.Basement - Provide structural details for the existing floor and roof framing (joists, beams, orientation of joists/rafters, etc.) and the required framing members (headers, double joists, etc.) for the reconfiguration of the interior stairs and the addition/expansion of the 4.0x4.0 windows in the Living Room and the new bedroom to guide proper review, construction, and inspection. 5.Basement – Clarify the method to be used to provide the required R-21 wall insulation in the ‘2x4 furring wall construction’ to guide proper construction and inspection. 6.Basement - Provide the required combustion air for the furnace per G2407. 7.Basement - Provide the required hardwired and interconnected smoke alarms in each sleeping room and outside the sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms per R314. 8.Basement - Provide the required carbon monoxide alarm outside the sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms per R315. 9.Basement – Provide a detail and reference to it for the required construction of the window well to guide proper review, construction, and inspection. 10.Basement - Provide the required makeup air in the Laundry Room per IMC 504.5. Louvered doors or openings/grilles into other spaces may be used to meet the requirements. Other limitations may arise if a gas dryer is installed. 11.Basement – Provide the required hot water tank vehicle protection per UPC 508.14/M1307.3.1. 12.Main Floor – Provide a detail and reference to it for the required construction of the ‘In-fill Deck Area’ to guide proper review, construction, and inspection. 13.Main Floor - Provide the required hardwired and interconnected smoke alarms in each sleeping room and outside the sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms per R314. 14.Main Floor - Provide the required carbon monoxide alarm outside the sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms per R315.
