During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be
found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised plans/documents to a
Permit Coordinator. Thank you.
General Note:
1.The information provided in the resubmittal (ridge beam, king post, beam, posts, etc.), along with
the responses to these review comments, must be shown on the construction plans.

2.Structural Calculations - Indicate the project address as 18731 78 Place W, as noted on the
permit application and other construction documents, or refer by permit number (BLD2013-
0151). The provided structural engineering seems to indicate the project address as 18715
Edmonds Residence.
On page 1:
3.Structural Calculations Clarify the callouts for the ridge beam
3-1/8x18 GLB

5-1/8x13-1/2 GLB
·
5-1/4x11-7/8 PSL
·
each appear to be overspanned and would deflect beyond that allowed per Table R301.7.
4.Structural Calculations Indicate the required isolated footings below each of the 4x4 posts used
to bear the load from the ridge beam. Without additional information, no sufficient existing
bearing can be assumed.
On page 2:
5.Structural Calculations Section A - Indicate all of the roof framing members to be used over
the kitchen and the adjacent area. Of particular interest is the 2x6 rafter span and the insulation.
