The original remodel permit was approved with construction taking place over a sewer line that runs through the property. The upgrading of the sewer line and associated construction costs turned out to be prohibitively expensive. Therefore the home has been modified to remain completely outside of the sewer easement, and a detached garage is now being proposed. We have provided a structural engineers report confirming that with this modification there is no impact to the sewer line easement. While our lot coverage increased slightly from 20.9% to 23.5% the impervious area remains identical to the previously approved 4,860 square feet.
