During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised
plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Thank you.
On page S2:
1.First Floor Framing Plan - Clarify the callout for Beam 2.2 4x10 DF #2 it appears to be
over spanned and fails in bending. The span of the beam noted on page 21 of the provided
structural calculations is different than that represented on the First Floor Framing Plan.
2.First Floor Framing Plan - Clarify the callout for Beam 2.5 6x10 DF #2 it appears to be
over spanned and fails in bending. The span of the beam and point loading noted on page 24
of the provided structural calculations is different than that represented on the First Floor
Framing Plan.
On page S3:
3.Shear Wall Schedule Nailing Pattern Horizontal Diaphragm Clarify the required on-
center spacing for the boundary nailing used to attach the floor sheathing to the floor joists
it does not appear to meet the requirements or be equivalent to Table R602.3(1)/IBC Table
