During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications, or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised
plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. Items that recur on this list appear in italics. Thank you.
On page 5:
1.Indicate on the plans the required beam to support the load over the window enlarged in the
master bedroom. Provide roof framing details (stick-framed rafters or manufactured full-
span trusses, ceiling joists, etc.) and the span of the structure used in determining the beam
size. The orientation of the roof framing shown appears to be inconsistent with the site
conditions represented in aerial views of the structure that suggest a gable-type roof
structure with one side bearing on the west exterior wall. The width of the structure in the
same direction as the roof framing, along with the length of the roof overhang, is necessary
to determine the load to be supported by the beam over the master bedroom window.
