Project: Jacobsens Marine mechanical-gas piping
Project Address: 345 Admiral Way
During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
On sheet A1.0:
1.Indicate on the plans the means to be used for the required attachment of the used-oil
furnace to resist seismic forces per IMC 301.18.
2.Indicate on the plans the means to be used for the required protection of the used-oil
furnace from damage per IMC 303.4.
3.Indicate on the plans the means to be used for the required equipment access to the unit-
heaters per IMC 306.5. Of particular concern are instances where the appliance is placed
such that personnel have to climb higher than 16 feet to access it.
