During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
General note:
1.Separate permits/submittals are required for the following:
a)Mechanical
b)Plumbing/gas piping
c)Fire Alarm
d)Fire Sprinkler
On sheet A0.0:
2.General Information
a.Project Address Change the suite number from C to 207.
b.Project Description Change the designated occupancy type from B to A-2 per
IBC 303.3.
c.Occupancy Change the designated occupancy type from B to A-2 per IBC
303.3.
3.Occupant Load Calculations
d.Change the table reference from 1004.1.1 to 1004.1.2.
e.Clarify the amounts of area noted for rooms 101, 102, 106, E1, and the
concentrated area in front of the bar. They appear to be less than the anticipated
net and gross areas as defined in IBC section 202.
f.Indicate on the plans the occupant load for the concentrated area in front of the bar.
4.Detail 3 Egress/Occupancy Plan
g.Clarify the amounts of area represented for rooms 101, 102, 106, E1, and the
concentrated area in front of the bar. They appear to be less than the anticipated
net and gross areas as defined in IBC section 202.
h.Change the direction of the door swing to that in the direction of egress travel per
IBC 1008.1.2.
