During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
`clouded' or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
General Note:
1. Indicate on the plans the option to be selected to develop the required energy credits per
WSEC R401,
2.)Indicate on the plans the method to be used to provide the required mechanical whole house
ventilation per M1507.3.
On the Residential Building Permit Application Form A:
3 Scope of Work -- Clarify the difference in the stated scope of work and that
represented/anticipated on the building plans in the area of the 'Kitchen'. The relocation of
the west exterior wall would appear to be pail of remodeling work not noted.
4. Propp§ed New Square Footage For This Project
Clarify the difference in the stated square footage for Tt Floor' of the proposed
structure and that represented on sheets 3, 4, and 5 of the building drawings.
( b.)Clarify the difference in the stated square footage for 'DeckJCvrd Porch/Patio' of the
-, proposed structure and that noted on sheet 5 of the building plans.
The amounts should consistently reflect the area to be constructed and is required to
properly determine the valuation used for permit fees.
On sheet, 6:
10 ross Sections (both) - Change the required insulation from 'R-38' to 'R-49' per WSEC
01 R402.1.
