Project: Hudak roof alteration-porch addition
Project Address: 21015 Shell Valley Way
During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
On sheet 6 Proposed Covered Walkway:
1.Indicate on the plans the size, species, and grade of the minimum beam required to support
the roof rafters over the Covered Walkway to guide proper review, construction, and
inspection.
2.Indicate on the plans the proposed post/beam connections for the Covered Walkway to
resist lateral loads per International Residential Code (IRC) R301.1.
3.Indicate on the plans the proposed post base connections for the Covered Walkway to
resist lateral loads per International Residential Code (IRC) R301.1.
On sheet 7 Roof Framing:
4.Indicate on the plans the distance the beams extend beyond the posts at each end of the
Covered Walkway. The drawing submitted does not appear to be at the scale indicated.
