During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found
on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the Development Services
Department. Thank you.
1.Please show smoke alarms on the plans in the locations specified in IRC R314.3.
2.Please show CO alarms in the hallways outside the bedrooms per IRC R315.1.
3.Show minimum 50 cfm exhaust fans in the laundry and bathrooms. M1507.4
4.Is the note for BBQ on the back deck indicative of a new gas outlet location? Please clarify, as this
was not indicated on the permit application.
5.On sheet A2.2 there is a reference to sheet E1 for Mechanical, HVAC and gas, however sheet E1 was
not included in the submittal. Please provide.
6.In detail 1 on A6.1, show the required R10 rigid insulation on either the inside or outside of of the
foundation as per WSEC Table R402.1.1.
7.On sheet S2.1, the footing at the rear of the fireplace appears to be shown in the wrong location, and
should be located under the end of the 6x10 beam. Please verify the correct location and revise the
plans as needed.
