Project Address: 174 Sunset Avenue S
During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
General Review Note:
1.Provide on the plans a detail, designed and stamped by an engineer, for the required
support and attachment of rooftop unit RTU-1 per IMC 301.15/18, IBC 1609/1613, and
ASCE 7-10 chapter 13. Notes on sheet M-1 of the plans and on page 9 of the Submittal
Data reference the General Contractor/Design Professional of Record as being responsible
for providing the engineering for the anchorage and restraint of the unit, however no
information regard such a design could be found among the submittal documents for the
tenant improvement project proceeding under permit BLD2015-0392.
