We received your comment letter dated October 20, 2015, for the referenced project.
Your review comments (in italics) and our corresponding responses are shown below.
Revisions complying with your comments have been incorporated into the construction
plan sheets.
1. On sheet C3.0 show the van accessible parking stall as 11 feet wide, instead of
10 feet as shown. ICC A117.1 section 502.2
Both accessible stalls have been changed to 11-foot wide van accessible stalls in
the plans. The parking stall detail has also been changed.
2. On sheet C3.0 revise the parking stall layout so that the accessible stalls are on
the shortest route possible to the entrance of the restroom per IBC 1106.6.
The parking stall layout has been revised so that the accessible stalls are on the
shortest route to the restroom entrance. The proposed grading of this area has
been modified to ensure that the accessible stalls are graded per ADA guidelines
for slope. These changes to grade have been made on Sheet C2.0.
