Your original review comments from October 29, 2015 follow with our responses after each comment:
1. Separate permit(s) will be required for any fire sprinkler/alarm alterations/additions.

Response:
Note that it has recently been clarified that the combination fire alarm/strobe that is existing in the
restroom will remain in place and in operation. The original documents indicated that it would be
removed and replaced. Therefore, we do not anticipate that a separate permit will be required for "alarm
alterations". The note on 5/A002 Elevation D has been changed to reflect this and bubbled as a response
to Plan Review Comments.
2. Detail 3/A003 — Vanity Section — Axonometric @ Support Frame — Clarify the reference to
detail '10/A500' regarding the end of the front side of the lavatory frame. The referencec
detail, or a detail corresponding to the indicated area, could not be found.
Response:
The reference has been corrected directing you to detail 8/A003. This is a plan detail cut through the
counter that shows the steel frame relationship to the finished counter extents.
3. Detail 5/A002 — Interior Elevations — Womens — Elevation D — Indicate on the plans the required vertical
grab bar per ICC A117.1-2009 section 604.5.1.
Response: The vertical grab bar has been added to the elevation. See also item 4 b. below.
4. Wheelchair ADA Stall
a. A Plan — Clarify the indicated door opening location of the toilet compartment door.
It does not appear to comply with the requirements of ICC A117.1-2009 section
604.9.3.1/Table 604.9.3.1.
Response:
We have revised the drawings (A001 & A002) to meet the requirements of A117.1-2009 section
604.9.3.1/Table 604.9.3.1. We have called out a 4" dimension at the jamb which addresses the 4"
max dimension asked for in the table. Because our stall is 60" clear wide, the 56" dimension
measured from the opposite wall to the jamb is also met.
b. C Elevation -Indicate on the plans the required vertical grab bar per ICC A117.12009
section 604.5.1.
Response:
The vertical grab bar has been added to the elevation and dimensioned to comply with the code
section. The Seat Cover Dispenser, toilet accessory (TA -76) has been moved to the wall behind
the water closet as a result. Mounting height for TA -76 is given in 5/A002 'Typical Mounting
Heights'.
