Please be advised that the building plans for the above referenced project have been by
the Building Division for the purposes of obtaining a building permit. During a review for
compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following information or
clarifications were neededand have been added to the plans or permitted to be provided as a
deferred submittal.Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result
in additional comments that require attention beyond the scope of this letter.
1.A City of Edmonds Special Inspection and Testing Agreement see attached - for the
following work must be completed and returned prior to permit issuance:
Placement of high performance concrete repair material

Concrete reinforcement and galvanic anode replacement/repairs
·
Expansion/adhesive anchorage in concrete
·
Guard top rail replacement
·
2.Electrical permits and inspections for additions and alterations of electrical systems and their
components must be obtained from the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries.
3.Prior to installation of the replacement lighting fixtures, provide a completed Washington
State Energy Code (WSEC) Commercial Provisions Compliance Form Exterior Lighting
Summary - LTG-EXT - to guide proper installation and inspection.
4.Provide the manufacturers installation requirements at the time of inspection for the
attachment of the following structures to the pier deck:
Kiosk Information Center

Windbreak Partition
·
Windbreak Enclosure
