During a review of the plans by the Building Division for compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following . information, clarifications, or changes are neededReviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result in additional comments that require attention beyond the scope of this letter. A complete review cannot be performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response in itemized letter formatindicating where the ‘clouded’ or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator. nd Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2 Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from 8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays. On sheet A3 - Foundation Plan 1.Clarify the callout for the anchorage to be used for the ‘HD7B’ holdowns at each end of the ‘P2-4’ shear walls along the west wall of the ‘Bonus Room’. The ‘SSTB28’ anchor bolts have very specific installation requirements that do not appear capable of being met by the proposed construction. The 4 foot wide stem wall would not allow the required minimum 49-3/4” long (2 x l) horizontal rebar, located 5” from the ends/corners of the stemwall, to be e installed. 2.Identify on the plans the element represented by the ‘dashed-line’ rectangle surrounding the area noted in the above plan review comment to guide proper review, construction, and inspection. It may be a ‘cloud’ identifying a change on the plans in response to an earlier review comment, but could also be interpreted as a large footing or other construction.
