1. Dimensions added to sheet A2.0 tot SIO showing 16'4' gavage door, opening
with 4%0" side :shear walls each side
2. Per our conversation the 2-2x10 header holds per calculation for the 16'-0" span.
Main Floor Plan:
a. Smoke alarm per IRC R314 added to sheet A2.0
b.Carbon Monoxide alarrn pu IRC R315 added to sheet, A2.4
-c. Mud Ro(inn,dooris a new replacement door. Size noted on sheet A2.0
d. Mud room door header noted on sheet A2.0
Attic Plan:
a. Attic space has been previously used as living space, with existing stairway
access. Attic was previorusly,heated with existing R-11 insulation in the ceiling
rafter cavity. Per detail on sheet A2.1and d AIO the R-11 will be removed, a 2x6
will be sistered onto each rafter and closed cell foam insulation added to the rafter
cavity. ICC -ES evaluation report on insulation is added for review.
b. Existing attic floor system is a fu112"x10" @ 16" o.c.. The existing rafters are a
full 2"x 4". No structural additions or changes are involved in the attic area,
beyond the added 2x6 to the rafters. All walls shown are non-bearing and area
behind walls are re h oved from, possible storage loads. ;Existing stairway is
modi:fi d to replace 3pw shaped' mid, landing treads with 2= YxYmid haulings.
c. Emergency egress noted on west window on sheet A2.1
d. Smoke alarm added to sheet A2.1
e. Carbon monoxide alarm added to sheet A2.1
f. Windows noted in attic area (A2.1) are new thermal paned, U value .3 0, replacing
existing older single paned windows.
