Hi Andy,
Thank you for your letter regarding our home remodel. Like you, we were concerned about the
condition of the parts of the house that we hope to retain. As such, prior to hiring the architect and
submitting the plans for permits we had the home inspected on February 3, 2016 by Final Phase
Inspection. I've attached a copy of the inspection report. The good news is that the inspection
revealed a sound foundation (one crack to address) and a sound subfloor. As recommended by the
inspector we did hire RamJack to inspect the crack in the concrete foundation on the west side. We
have received a bid for repair of the crack. Further, we hired American Crawlspace Cleanouts to
remove all of the debris from underneath the home (see photo of cleaned out crawl space).
I have contacted our contractor so that he can provide the itemized estimates you requested. I will
contact you as soon as he supplies that information to me .
