This letter is written in response to the Engineering Plan Review Comments dated the
7th July 2016 for the above noted project. The comments are numbered as noted in your
letter. They also should reflect our discussion at the city on 12th July 2016.
SITE PLAN (1 of 4)
All revision made to all other sheets have been revised to match sheet 1.

3. The trench sizing as been revised to be consistent on all sheets.
GENERAL

New Comments - 7/6 2016
1. The engineer of record wants to inspect the trench excavation as a special inspection.
2. Note # 20 has been revised and the 4 foot drywell is shown more than 5 feet from the
property line.
3. The 21 notes have been review and revised to show the changes on the plans sheet 3.
4. The 41.5 foot dimension line has corrected.

STORM
1. The Herrera comment do not have to be addressed because the trench sizing will not
be done by the WWHM 2012 for this design. We will use the previous sizing
requirements are we discussed at the city on July 12 2016.
2. The overflow path for Trench A and trench B have both been revised to outlet into a 4
foot diameter drywell to be constructed per the city's "Figure A-5" The trenches will
only overflow when the trenches are full which I do not expect to happen except on very
rare if ever. However the deep drywell will be able to infiltrate any overflow which may
occur.

4. A new detail of CB # 1 has been added to sheet 4. The table on sheet 3 has also been
revised.
5, 6, 7 & 8 noted as OK
9. Notes 22 and 23 have been added to plan on sheet 3 to clarify drainage areas directed
to trench A and B.
7/6/2016 - Comments from Herrera
These comments have not been addressed because the WWHM 2012 program was used
in this submittal. The previous submittal using table 5 for Gravelless Chambers was used
for the trench sizing.
