RE: REVIEW COMMENTS* BLD-2016- Tenant Improvements 5 corners Deli -Market 8406 Bowdoin Way - ER Please be advised that the building plans for the above referenced project have been disapproved for the purposes of obtaining a building permit. During a review of the plans by the Building Division for compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result in additional comments that require attention beyond the scope of this letter. Items that recur on this list appear in italics. A complete review cannot be performed until Jhg i WjUsn , ,1ginized lkiter, 6 , or w dt have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator. Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2"a Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from 8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays. On sheet G-000 — Cover Sheet: Deferred (sic) Submittals - Partially resolved — Indicate on the plans the required submittal of construction documents for the proposed installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems under separate permits. While the Washington State Department of Labor of Industries has regulatory oversight of the electrical system installation, the means of compliance of the system and its components with the applicable provisions of the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) must be represented on the plans per WSEC C103.2 — see also review note 8. The response to the earlier plan review comment states: "Response: Revised. See Sheet G-000, sheet A-121 and 2015 Washington State Energy Code Compliance Form.". The note on sheet `G-000' of the plans still appears to propose a `deferred submittal' of documents/information regarding the mechanical and plumbing work associated with the scope of work under this permit. Minor mechanical and plumbing work that is not included and represented on the plans (as required per WSEC C103.2) at the time of permit application for the building permit must be performed under a separate permit. While sheet `A-] 21' appears to represent some of the required elements of the proposed lighting installation, it does not include all of the information specified on the WSEC `Compliance Forms for Commercial Buildings including R2, R3, R4 over 3 stories and all R1' - LTG -SUM, LTG-INT-SPACE or LTG-INT-BLD, and LTG-CHK. The referenced Washington State Energy Code Compliance Form could not be found among the resubmitted construction documents. ,,,Sheel GP...0001,,aml[ 2015 > ,,isldnigton State, Forirf,i 2.
