Please provide written responses to each comment, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the Development Services Department. 1. Provide a clear description of the work on the plans in order to identify the scope of the project. 2. Please remove from the plans the architect stamp and all redlines not pertaining to this project. 3. Please revise the handwritten graphics and notations on the plans to ensure clarity and legibility. 4. Show on the plans a minimum 30 inch deep service space at the rear of each dryer as required by IMC 306.1. 5. Show on the plans a diagram of the dryer exhaust duct system continuous from each dryer to the point of termination above the roof. Include sizing and materials of the ducting components. 6. Show the location of all backdraft dampers in the above diagram, in order to demonstrate compliance with IMC 504.4. 7. Will the exhaust system include power ventilators? If so, indicate the ventilators are to be listed and labeled as meeting UL 705. IMC 504.5 8. It is unclear how combustion air is proposed to be provided to the gas dryers. The note on the plans shows a combustion air intake in the ceiling of the main tenant space. Please show on the plans the size and routing of the ducted combustion air system, and how it is delivered to the dryer space. Note on the plans that the combustion air will meet the requirements of the manufacturer. IFGC 304 9. Show on the plans how makeup air will be provided to the dryer space in compliance with IMC 504.6. 10. If combustion air or makeup air will be introduced directly into the Dryers Access room, the room will need to be thermally isolated from the rest of the tenant space and building. Provide notes and details on the plans as to how the room will be insulated in compliance with WSEC C402.
