This letter is to address Erigineering Plan Review Comments dated July '11, 2013 from City of
Edmonds.

a, Ductile iron pipe with anchoring is called out between the garage entrance strip drain
and CB#2 as required because the pipe slope is greater than 30%. The remainder
of the StOrrn drainage systern is called out with PVC pipe since the pipe slopes are
less than 30%. In addition, the PVC pipes are provided with anchors as an extra
margin of safety and as recommended by the project geotechnical engineer. The
pipe anchor detail shown (K('.SVVDM Fig. 4,2,1.B) is appropriate for the IDI and PVC
pipe materials.

no slopes above 4.0%.
d. Geotechnical engineer's recommendations are attached, BNSF Pipeline License
