During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed:

1.This house connects to the City of Lynnwood sewer trunk line in 76 Ave W. Approval will need to be
gained from the City of Lynnwood allowing this pool to be drained to their sewer system. Please submit a
copy of the letter of approval from the City of Lynnwood for our files.
If the City of Lynnwood does not allow draining of the pool to their sewer system you will need to have a
document on file, recorded against the property, that states the pool shall be drained via a pump truck.
If the City of Lynnwood gives permission to drain to their sewer system, there shall not be a direct
connection from the pool to the sewer. The pool shall be pumped to the on-site sanitary sewer manhole.
2.The site plan indicate the pool will be filled by an auto fill line. Please show the location of the required
backflow assembly.
3.The detention system that was constructed with the single family residence was sized for 4500sf of
impervious area. The amount of impervious area approved with the single family permit was 4472sf.
Therefore, the existing detention system is maxed out. Any additional impervious area would require
installation of a separate detention system. Please refer to handout #E72 Stormwater Management available
on the City website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under Development Services Department, Engineering.
4.Show the location of all existing utilities on the site plan. This includes the sanitary side sewer system
(asbuilt attached) and the detention system which releases to an on-site spreader trench.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Marie
