During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed:
1.Show the minimum Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control in the site plan. Please refer to City of
Edmonds standard detail E1.1 You may find this detail by visiting the City of Edmonds web site at
www.ci.edmonds.wa.us
and clicking on City Government-Development Services-Engineering Division
and scroll down to handouts and forms.
2.Provide the Impervious Surface Calculation as required and shown in the pool hand out #B75.

4.Please refer to the City of Edmonds Swimming Pool Permit Submittal Requirements, #B75. Please
submit all pertinent and required information regarding the pool. I.e. grading plan, pool drainage detail,
etc.
Indicate the proposed location of the sanitary sewer clean out for pool drainage purposes. Pursuant to
·
ECDC 19.00.005(c) 12, a means of disposal of the total contents of the pools shall be reviewed and
approved by the Public Works Director. (a) No direct connection shall be made between any
swimming pool, hot tub or spa to any storm drain, city sewer main, drainage system, seepage pit,
underground leaching pit, or sub-soil drain. (b) A sanitary sewer tee (outside clean out installed on
the main building side sewer line) shall be provided for draining of treated water into the sanitary
sewer system.
For in ground swimming pools, submit three (3) copies of a grading plan, scaled 1=20, with
yardage calculations that specify the number of cubic yards to be removed filled or graded.
3. Please show on site plan location that external shower drain will connect with sanitary sewer line.
4. Show all piping between pool equipment shed and pool on site plan.
