523 Alder Roof Revision
On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit revision. During review
of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications need to
be addressed.
Roof revision: Upon extensive review of the originally approved roof plan and the various proposed
roof revisions, the City of Edmonds has determined that the roof should be reconstructed per the
original approved plans with the clarification that the crickets shown on the approved plans be
constructed with a minimum 2% slope required by the building code for drainage purposes. The
crickets are not required to have a minimum 4:12 slope, but cannot exceed the maximum allowed
building height of 30 feet.
Once the roof is reconstructed, please schedule a height inspection with the Building Inspector to
verify the height of the newly constructed roof.
