All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at under City Government / Development Services Department / our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts: 1. Impervious surface includes the eves of all structures. Please add the additional square footage to account for the eves for the addition and for the original structure if not already included. 2. Please recalculate the Proposed Impervious surface to only include proposed impervious as follows; Garage/Shed Stair Landing New and Replaced Asphalt 3. How will the drainage be handled for the garage/storage? What drainage system, if any, does the current residence use? Please note/show on site plan. 4. Please clearly label which water service line, electrical, and communication trench is existing and which trench is proposed. 5. Note on site plan the pipe size and material proposed for water service line. 6. Show current location of water meter and show proposed location of water meter which shall be on public right of way at west side of the property line. Note that minimum horizontal separation between water service line and all electrical/telecommunications shall be 36”. A stepped trench can be used which provides a minimum of 18” in vertical separation with water line located on step above electrical/telecommunications. 8. Show location of side sewer from property line to residence on site plan. 9. Show proposed erosion control measures on site plan consistent with City of Edmonds Standard Details for erosion control. Can be viewed on City website as indicated above. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to your Development Services Coordinator.
