In reviewing the submittal dated August 6, 2009 regarding the aforementioned site, I
have the following comment:
The modeling for the infiltration trench to manage the driveway and entry site
runoff needs changes. The StormShed2 modeling for this trench does not use
the "Consider Bottom Only" parameter as is done for the other trench. Both
trenches should be modeled using the "Consider Bottom Only" parameter and
the driveway trench should be resized as necessary. Note that Appendix C in
the 2009 King County Surface Water Design Manual specifies the same size
trench for medium sands whether it contains a perforated pipe (like the trench
designed for the roof water) or not.
