During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us by clicking City Government / City

Revised Drainage Plan:
1. The revised drainage plan shows three 6” lines entering the existing catch basin. The maximum
knockout size for a type 1 is 20”. The existing catch basin is much smaller than a type one. It cannot
accommodate the proposed inverts.
2. How does the change in slope of the detention system to 1.4% in sections change the slope of the
connecting pipes. Please resubmit plan with the new elevations for the two detention catch basins as
built and with any changes in invert elevations needed to meet positive slope for the connecting pipes.
