During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at

Please find below additional Stormwater comments for the proposed project:
In review of the existing detention system and proposed detention system, it was determined that the
proposed detention system does not meet city standards. Please revise the plans accordingly:
1.When more than 5000 sq ft of impervious surfaces are constructed after 1977 and are being
collected to a detention system, the system must be designed by a licensed engineer. Please
provide the calculations and design for the expansion of the existing detention system.
OR
2.Install a raingarden to collect the proposed impervious surface water runoff.
a.The water runoff can not exceed 1999 sq ft of water runoff if you are to design it per the
handbook provided to you on July 16, 2010.
i.Show dimension and location of the raingarden on site plan.
ii.Show dimensions from property lines and structures.
iii.Provide a copy of the completed worksheet from page 18 of the handbook.
b.If the raingarden will collect more than 1999 sq ft, infiltration rates will need to be
determined by a licensed engineer.

3.Install a Low Impact Development (LID) technique to collect the new impervious surface water
runoff for review an approval.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised traffic control plans and associated documents with a written
