During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1.Please add a directional arrow (north arrow) to the plans.
2.It appears there is a City of Edmonds easement that runs along the eastern portion of your
property (see attached map and easement).
a.Please show the easement on the plot plans.
b.Please call Locaters Inc, 800-424-5555, and ask for a utility locates for your property and
within the easement. Once they utilities have been marked please show the location of the
utilities on the Plot Plan.
c.If the proposed fence is within the easement, you will need to apply for an encroachment
permit (see attached handout). Please provide an application with the revised Plot Plans.
d.If the proposed fence is not within the easement then an encroachment permit is not
needed.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plot plans and associated documents with a written response to
