During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. If you need to review any of our Handouts or Codes, they can
be found on our website www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government/City Departments/Public
Works/Engineering Division:
1.It appears that your tenant improvement expands the walk in/pick-up restaurant to a sit down restaurant.
If so, the traffic impact classification changes for your business. Please review the Traffic Impact Fee
Handout attached and complete the Worksheet questions #1 and #7. Submit the completed worksheet
and payment amount determined by the worksheet. You also have the option of submitting an
independent fee calculation in accordance with ECDC 18.82.130 to determine traffic impact fees. Please
note that per the ECDC the City Transportation Engineer is required to review the report. The review
fee is $200.
2.Will there be any staging of materials, construction vehicles, or a dumpster in the right of way? If so,
disruption fees may apply. If you will be using or blocking any portion of the right of way, parking stalls,
street, alley, sidewalk for example, you will need to apply for a right of way permit (attached). Please
include a traffic control plan and disruption fees if applicable.
