During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / City
Departments / Public Works/ Engineering Division:
1.Please show erosion and sediment control on site plan.
2.Show on plan where stockpile or materials will be stored.
3.Does the existing roofline drainage go to splashblock or tightline? Note on plans.
4.Plan notes that existing pool will be filled, yet the project notes and the permit #bld20100799 state pool
will be demolished, please revise information to be consistent.
5.Impervious surface calculation box, address, name and permit number need to be on the reduced size
copy of the plan. Please see attached example for all reduced site plan requirements.
6.The impervious surface calculations must include the eves on structures. Revise impervious calculations.
Impervious surface also includes any area that is paved, covered in concrete, gravel, pavers etc. Please
show all impervious surface on site plan. Add date constructed and total square footage to each area (see
example).
7.Snohomish County Property Information states there is a detached garage on the property. It is noted as
528sf in addition to the structure 1468sf. Please show all structures on site plan or clarify.
8.What year was the pool installed?
9.Please note on the plans that all disturbed areas will be compost amended at restoration.
10.Please revise erosion control notes as follows:
#3) Remove reference to King County and replace with 2005 Dept. of Ecology Manual
#4) Replace with “All stockpiles, when not in use, and slopes shall be covered at all times.”
#6) A tesc plan was not included in the submittal. Please replace with “Temporary Erosion and
Sediment Control will be consistent shall be in accordance with City of Edmonds Standard
Details, Minor Site requirements as noted in the 2010 Stormwater Supplement, and with the 2005
Dept. of Ecology Manual.
#7) TECS measures shall be inspected by the Engineering Division prior to commencement of
work.
