During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed:
1.Per City of Edmonds Development Information hand out #B72, Sign Permit Submittal Requirements,
under Street Use/Encroachment it is stated that Signs or similar projections such as awnings, canopies,
marquees, or other architectural features that project in, on, over or under any public place (such as a
street, alley, sidewalk) are required to obtain a Street Use Permit in addition to a sign permit. Enclosed is
a copy of the Street Use Permit Handout E26. Please complete and return to satisfy the Engineering
requirements for this sign. In the description of the use with the sign, also add planters and table and
chairs, and a sandwich sign if you plan to use one. As long as the chairs and tables are not specifically for
Il Buffone’s use only (causing additional permit requirements for Outside Dining) it is fine to just lump
everything on to the one Street Use permit.
