2)9/2/11:Comment was partially addressed. If perpendicular parking (parking located west of
building) is to be installed you must have a minimum 20’ drive aislewidth. The second lane is to
be used for drop off and will at times have stationary vehicles for an unknownperiod of time and
therefore can not be included in the drive aislewidth total.
a.Please adjust the perpendicular parking to meet the requirements as shown in the attached
Figure 18-1,(Table 1illustrates how wide the drive aisle must be in relation tothe angle of
the stall).
b.Please verify and note on the plans that the proposed angled stalls meet the requirements
(angle of stall and dimensions) shown in Figure 18-1, Table 1.
c.Please dimensions both lanes. The drop off lane should be a minimum of 11’.
August 19, 2011 Comment: Please revise parking detail 12 and parking stalls on the site plan to meet City
of Edmonds code ECDC 18.95.
d.The city may approve two sizes of parking stalls, Reduced Width(16.5’ x 8’) and Full size(16.5’
x 8.5’).Certain code criteria must be met to gain approval for reduced width stalls.
