Goodwill signs at 10117 Edmonds Way
On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit application.
During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections,
or clarifications need to be addressed. Please respond to the following items, so that I can
complete my review:
Illumination
1.: The property located at 10117 Edmonds Way is zoned BN – Neighborhood
Business. According to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.60.020. M.2,
Internally illuminated signs in neighborhood commercial areas may only light the letters; the
background of a sign face may not be illuminated. I am unable to tell from the sign plans
whether the entire boxed cabinet would be illuminated or the blue portion of the sign is
opaque only permitting the white letters to be illuminated. Please indicate on the sign plans
that only the white lettering will be illuminated.
