Please also show that utilites maintain a 5’ separation from the sewer and placed where no trenching will occur within the drip line of the tree. Please revise the impervious surface calculations accordingly. Additional comments from Jerry Shuster, Stormwater Eng Program Mngr., 1)OK 2)10/23/12 – Comment was addressed; however, during interpolation and using the infiltration rate of 1.2 in/hr., the sizing factor should be 3%. Please revise your calculations and adjust the infiltration system accordingly. Choosing the highest rate is not approved. The Dsize is a better indication of the infiltrating ability of the soil than 10 the other test. By averaging the long-term infiltration rates from the Dsize, a rate of 1.2 in/hr. is 10 obtained. Use Table 5 in Engineering Handout #E72B to linearly interpolate a sizing factor for a design infiltration rate of 1.2 inches per hour, and size the trench accordingly. 3)OK Frontage Improvements /Driveway 1)OK 2)10/23/12 – Comment was addressed; however, please make sure and clearly note that the driveway cannot be located within the drip line of the tree. 9/25/12 Comment: The tree located in the right-of-way and driveway shall not be removed. Please revise the plans showing the tree to remain and proper separation from the driveway such as not to damage the tree during construction or final completion of the project. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans and associated documents with a written response to each item to a Permit Coordinator.
