During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov :
Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1. A 1-inch water meter is required for fire sprinkling with a 1 ½” water service line. This lot
construction permit was approved with a ¾-inch meter and a 1” water service line. Please
make payment for the meter upgrade of $250 (paid $550 for ¾ meter, $800 is cost for 1”
meter). A note will be added to building permit for inspector to verify that a 11/2” water
service line was installed. If the ¾” meter is already installed, please call public works at
425-771-0235 to arrange the removal of the ¾” meter and the installation of a 1” once the
upgrade fee has been paid.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
