Edmonds Fire Services provides the following comments and corrections in accordance with the
2009 International Fire Code and Edmonds Community Development Code Title 19:
1. Sheet TS1.0 Deferred Submittals
a. Add FIRE SPRINKLER PERMIT
b. Add FIRE ALARM PERMIT
c. Edit FIRE PROTECTION PERMIT – COMMERCIAL COOKING
d. FIRE PROTECTION FOOTPRINT (example attached).
2. Sheet GS.01 EVACUATION PLAN
a. Provide emergency illumination throughout. (ELECTRICAL?)
b. Show occupant load calculations for BANQUET 113 and incorporate load in
EVACUATION PLAN.
c. Provide EXIT sign at DOOR 113 and PANIC HARDWARE.

d. DOOR 113A reverse swing to accommodate 2 exit from BANQUET.
e. Provide EXIT sign at matchpoint 2.5/H.5 directing egress to DOOR 112.
3. Sheet D1.01 GENERAL DEMO PLAN NOTES
Add 11A WHEN FIRE SPRINKLER AND/OR FIRE ALARM SHOULD BE IMPAIRED DUE
TO DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION WORK, A 24 HOUR FIRE WATCH SHALL BE
IMPLEMENTED. CONTACT EDMONDS FIRE INSPECTOR PRIOR TO REQUIRED EVENT:

4. Sheet A2.01 PROVIDE FIRE DEPARTMENT KNOXBOX. REPLACE EXISTING LEGACY BOX
WITH KNOX BRAND KEYBOX. CONTACT FIRE INSPECTOR 425.775.7720 FOR
AUTHORIZATION.
5. Sheet A9.01 DOOR & FRAME SCHEDULE
Door 113 Provide PANIC HARDWARE.
