During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov :
Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
Site Plan:
1. 5/15/13 Not done. The plot or site plan needs to show the location of all the utilities (ie water
line, sewer line, etc.) from the property line to the house and the detention system location and
connection to the house but does not need to include the details (length, size, etc.).

8. 5/15/13 New Comment: The lot coverage and the impervious surface for the residence are
both shown as 2825 sf. These numbers can not be the same since the impervious surface for
the residence should include the roofline. Please revise.

3. 5/15/13 Footing drains can not daylight on property. Some options are to tie them into the
storm line after the detention system or direct to a drywell. Are footing drains required for
this project? If so, please show where they will discharge. Footing drains can not be
connected to the detention system.
