During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts and Standard Details referred to in these
comments can be accessed at our website: www.edmondswa.gov by choosing the Government tab and
Public Works| Engineering under Departments:
Please Note: Building Handouts do not include updated Engineering Division Requirements. Refer to
Engineering Handouts for all Engineering Requirements.
1. Please add year of construction to structure.
2. Please show the utilities (e.g. gas, water, sewer etc.) from the property line to the building.
3. Please add impervious surface calculations to plans. Please note that when impervious
surface is removed to dirt and the area is replaced with impervious surface( e.g. a porch)
that impervious surface is considered new impervious surface.
4. Please show proposed roofline. Add any additional roofline to impervious surface
calculations.
5. Show on plan where construction materials will be stockpiled.
6. A yard drain is shown next to the new porch. Is this drain existing or proposed?
7. If the yard drain is proposed, please show what runoff it will be collecting and where the
drain connects to the site or public storm system.
8. If the yard drain is existing, please show catch basin protection per City Standards.
