Thank you for submitting a building permit application for an addition at 24230 104 Place West in the RS-8
zone. I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before the Planning Division
review can continue.
1.Height Calculations: Point “C” falls off site and must be calculated based on averaging the “elevation of the
two points projected downward where the two sides of the rectangle cross the property line” per ECDC
21.40.030.B. Please show points “C1” and “C2” on the site plan so I can see how point “C” was determined.
You may redline the plans, because the proposal is obviously under the 25’ height limit.
2.Lot Coverage: Please verify lot coverage calculations on the site plan. 1980 square feet of coverage is
shown, but the breakdown indicates 1452 (existing) + 792 (new) which is 2244 square feet. Please confirm.
You may redline the plans, because I think this is just a typo.
Please submit a written response to the above, along with any revised plans to your Permit Coordinator: Linda
Thornquist. The Development Services Department is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:00
