All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.usunder City Government / Development Services Department / Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts: 1)Please add a note that the silt fence will be installed as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail E1.1. 2)Please add a note that all disturbed soils will be compost amended. 3)Pools are considered impervious surfaces.Impervious surface is any hard surface area that either prevents or retards the entry of water into the ground as it would occur in nature.Please revise calculations to include entire pool sq.ft., not just the coping. 4)Please show all impervioussurfaces and year installed on the plans (walkways, roof,driveway, gravel areas, pool, etc.).Calculateimpervious surface asconstructed before 1977(not regulated), impervious surfaces constructed after 1977(regulated)as well as proposed impervious surfaces (regulated).Is there a proposed walkway to the pool? 5)As mentioned abovefor impervious surface calculations.Please separate previous drivewayfootprint impervious surface(not regulated)from new driveway impervious surfaceconstructed in 2013 (regulated).Original driveway ifconstructed before 1977, does not count towards regulated impervious surfaces. 6)If you have 2000sqft or more of impervious surfaces constructed after 1977you will be required to install a stormwater management system. Please see handout E72 (attached) for more information and revise the plans accordingly. 7)Please show the line and size of the side sewer from the home to the clean outas well as size of clean out. Also show clean out distance in relation to the pool on the site plan. 8)Please show location ofutilities (side sewer, water service line & storm water) on private property. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plansand associated documents with a written response to each item to a Permit Coordinator.
