Permit Located at 345 Admiral Way (BLD20131338)
Dear Mr. McChesney:
As you are aware, the Jacobsen's Marine project located at 345 Admiral Way (File No. BLD20131338)
requires enhancement of the Edmonds Marsh. A wetland enhancement plan prepared by Keeley
O'Connell with EarthCorps was submitted and approved on April 10, 2014. The City's Parks and
Recreation Department had previously been planning on contracting with EarthCorps to conduct a
wetland enhancement project at the Edmonds Marsh, so the Parks and Recreation Department has agreed
to expand the scope of their project to include the scope detailed in the April 1.0, 2014 enhancement plan
prepared by EarthCorps. The total cost for the project was identified in the report as $12,516.95;
however, American Brewery has contributed $1,500 towards this project as part of the enhancement
required with their recent building permit (BLD20130930). Thus, the remaining portion due for this
combined enhancement project is $11,016.95. It is my understanding that the Port plans to pay this
amount on behalf of Jacobsen's Marine.
Please submit the required $11,016.95 at your earliest convenience to be applied towards the required
wetland enhancement associated with the Jacobsen's Marine project. If you have any questions, feel free
